Senior Digital Content Transformation Associate

Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh Full-time · Permanent 5–10 Years Work From Office

Introduction

Job Summary: Experience: 5–10 Years

We're looking for an experienced, detail-driven Senior Digital Content Transformation Associate to help lead our digital publishing team. You'll take ownership of complex EPUB/EPUB3, XML, and PDF Accessibility remediation projects end-to-end — setting quality benchmarks, troubleshooting non-standard content issues, and mentoring junior associates.

This role is well suited to seasoned digital publishing professionals who want to move into a more senior, process-owning capacity within an accessibility-focused production environment.

Deep, hands-on expertise with EPUB3, XML, and PDF/UA or WCAG-aligned accessibility remediation is required. You'll be expected to work independently on the most complex content and to guide the team's quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end conversion, formatting, and structuring of complex digital content across EPUB/EPUB3, XML, and HTML/CSS workflows.
  • Lead PDF Accessibility remediation on high-complexity titles, including advanced structural tagging, reading-order correction, and PDF/UA or WCAG conformance review.
  • Diagnose and resolve non-standard formatting, structure, and content issues that fall outside documented specifications.
  • Define, refine, and document project-specific publishing and quality guidelines for the team to follow.
  • Own final quality review, validation, and sign-off on remediated content batches before client delivery.
  • Mentor and train junior associates on digital publishing and accessibility workflows, and support their skill development.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for technical issues and liaise with clients or project leads on scope, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve production workflows, tooling, and QA processes across the team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, IT, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of hands-on experience in digital content transformation, e-publishing, or accessibility remediation.
  • Proven, hands-on expertise in EPUB/EPUB3 and XML-based publishing workflows.
  • Strong working knowledge of PDF Accessibility remediation and PDF/UA or WCAG 2.x standards.
  • Solid command of HTML and CSS for content structuring.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing others' work and owning quality sign-off.

Preferred, Not Required

  • Prior experience mentoring, training, or leading a small production team.
  • Familiarity with accessibility testing tools (e.g. PAC, Adobe Acrobat accessibility checker, screen readers).
  • Direct client- or vendor-facing project experience.
  • Exposure to scripting or automation for content QA (e.g. XSLT, regex-based validation).

Senior, specialized hires. Core skills we value: technical depth, sound judgment on ambiguous cases, mentorship, precision, and clear client communication.

Onboarding

Senior hires undergo a brief 1-week orientation covering our internal tooling, project management systems, and client-specific quality standards, before taking ownership of live projects and team mentorship responsibilities.
